We played the fields next to MLK right by the hockey rink and it worked great.
No cost we have the stuff to do it. You will need to spend time making the darts.

Games to play: Basketball: bring basketball and refreshments. Football: bring cones, football, and refreshments. Baseball: bring cones (for bases), baseball, mits, there should be atleast 12 people in order to play. Soccer: bring cones, soccer ball, and refreshments. Capture the flag: bring cones and flags. Frisbee golf: bring Frisbees
Times to go: as a general rule of thumb you should plan these outings after schools are out, and before dark. Late afternoon during the school week, and all day Saturday would be ideal times.
