JH78 is a ministry that offers multiple ways for junior highers to get connected with other Christians. We hope you get plugged into many of the ways listed below. If you are a parent looking to get involved, click here.

Tuesday Night Live (TNL) is our youth group program that takes place almost every Tuesday night from 7-9pm. This is the primary way for you to feel part of the ministry and for you to make friends. TNL consists of high energy games, concert feel worship, and gender and grade specific small groups. The first time you come you will be placed into a small group so you can start making Christian friends. You can come as early as 6pm to hangout in the Plaza or eat at the North Coast Coffee House before we begin the night in the Edge.

These programs are our discipleship teams that meet once a month in homes during the school year. They are high commitment teams that aim to build character, teach leadership skills, and serve the community through various service projects. Students involved spend either daily or weekly time in prayer and the Word. SALT is for 8th Graders and LIGHT is for 7th Graders. These teams are closed once applications are due in September.

This program offers free guitar, bass, drums, key and vocal lessons for aspiring musicians before TNL on Tuesday nights. Our goal is not only to teach students who are willing to learn, but also prepare students who wish to play on weekend worship teams when they get into high school. For more information on how you can get involved musically, click here.

We have fully programmed weekend services for 7th and 8th graders offered Saturday night at 5:30pm and Sunday at 9am, 11am, and 6pm. Join us for a fun game, worship, and a 25-minute message relevant to junior highers. Be sure to bring your Bible and be ready to grow!

Our ministry organizes many events a year such as summer and winter camps, all-nighters and sleepovers at the church, small group outings, beach days, service projects, retreats, hikes, and many more. Some well known events you might have already heard of are Adventure Whitewater, Camp United, Starving 2 Serve, and Tournament Series. Stay in the know of every event at JH78 by continually checking our online calendar or Events page!

JH78 supports the incredible soup kitchen ministry Outside the Bowl. Every weekend service we collect an offering where 100% of the money goes toward this organization that builds soup kitchens in impoverished countries while partnering up with local churches, orphanages, shelters, and hospitals. We also raise money for them yearly through Starving 2 Serve. This past year through Starving 2 Serve, we raised around $90,000 for the ministry!
