  • JH78 is for those in 7th & 8th grade.

  • Travis Sybert is the Junior High Pastor. He has been on staff with JH78 for close to 25 years. He is married to his wife Jessica and they have three kids (7th grade, 10th grade & 11th grade). Contact Travis here.

  • JH78 meets on Tuesdays for Tuesday Night Live (TNL). We also meet on weekends for our weekend church services on Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 9am and 11am. JH78 also has various other events throughout the year.

  • As said above, TNL stands for Tuesday Night Live. This is our high-energy youth group taking place every Tuesday night from 7-9pm. We have over 200 7th and 8th graders attending every week. TNL is the number one way for your child to get connected in JH78 because of our small group time.

If your child has never been and is not in a small group, there is no need to preregister. They will be put into a small group when they show up with friends or peers they relate to.

  • TNL always includes a fun 20-30 minute game, a time of worship led by a full band, a 10 minute message and a half hour in small group time. Students can show up as early as 6pm at the JH78 room.

Weekend church services also include a game and, instead of small groups, a 25-minute age relevant sermon from the Bible. Worship is also a part of these services. We meet inside of the JH78 room.

  • You can view the pick-up map at the bottom of our TNL page.

  • We currently have between 50-60 small group leaders serving with us at TNL. These leaders are at least 18 years old and have been cleared to serve with minors. Clearance includes an application, an interview, verified references, being fingerprinted (Live Scan) and cleared with Megan’s Law, the DMV and North Coast Church staff.

  • Please contact your student’s director first. They may be able to help your needs or questions. If not, we can work on getting you in contact with the small group leader :)

  • If you attend North Coast Church, you will automatically be added to our Parent Email list. We send out a few emails a month on what’s going on. If you have not been getting emails, contact Taylor.

Also, reading JH78 News, downloading our app and opting for push notifications and following us on Instagram are all great ways to stay in the know.

  • Parents can serve on our Parking Team or as a Small Group Leader (not for their own child). They can also open up their home or yard for events. Let Travis know if you’d like to get involved somehow!

  • Here is our Statement of Faith.
